APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING
We suggest that you book your next appointment in advance to insure your day & time preferences may be accomodated. If possible, please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time to allow you to become comfortable and relaxed before we begin. Should you arrive late, we may need to adjust your services/treatments so that our professionals will remain on time. After twenty minutes, you may need to reschedule your service. If you decide to downgrade your scheduled appointment, there will be a thirty percent surcharge fee of the original service price added to your selected service.
RESCHEDULING
If your preferred service professional is unable to deliver service due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, weather, etc.), you will have the discretion to reschedule your appointment for a different time or request to be placed with another professional.
CANCELLATIONS
If you must cancel an appointment, eight-hour notice in advance is required or you will be charged 50% of the price of your cancelled service at your next appointment, which will need to be secured with a credit card.
NO SHOW
If you do not show up for your appointment, not only will we be worried about you, you will be charged a 'no-show' fee equal to the missed service amount payable in cash at your next appointment.
PAYMENT
We accept Cash, MasterCard, Visa and Gift Certificates. Payments in excess of service/treatment charges will be applied as salon credit and not in cash or as a credit card refund.
RETURNS
We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges on retail items or services/treatments.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are available for any denomination and are not redeemable for cash or gratuities.
HEALTH CONDITIONS
During your personal consultation, please provide us with all pertinent information required regarding your health history. This will allow us to recommend specific treatments just for you, as well as keep us informed as to any adjustments we may need to make for your services/treatments. All information you provide is required and will be kept in strict confidence, per Massachusetts State Law. Please be sure to keep us up-to-date on any/all changes.
CHILDREN
We are quite possessive of our time with you - therefore it is appreciated if you will make other arrangements for your child(ren) while you are with us. We apologize, however we will be unable to perform your service(s) if your child(ren) are with you at your appointment. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian available to sign a consent form in order to receive service(s); under age 10 a parent/guardian must be present during service(s).
CELL PHONES & PAGERS
Please place cell phones and wireless communication devices on 'silent', 'vibrate' or turn 'off', for your relaxation and the comfort of other guests.

Services, treatments, packaging, products and prices are subject to change without notice. These policies may be changed at any time at the discretion of The Matrix Nail Lab.
